Bumper Blast of entertainment by Zee Talkies in October 2011…
Two New slots, One new program and Four movie premiers

Zee Talkies, the only Marathi movie channels known for its healthy mix of titles with new blockbusters like Natarang, Harishchandrachi Factory, Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy along with cult classics like Pinjara, Agabai Arechha, Bindhast and Ashi hi Banvabanvi. Also Zee Talkies offers its viewers variety of films and events with its various brands like Talkies Tharaar, Talkies Premier, Talkies Jallosh, Malamal Monday & Superstaar Shanivaar. Now Zee Talkies is bringing two new brands – Talkies Gaurav & Guru Mahima.
‘Talkies Gaurav’ will showcase selective popular award winning films which has got acclaim on national as well as on international levels. The Slot will start with Oscar nominated path breaking film “Shwaas” and films like Harishchandrachi Factory, Pinjara, Tigya and Astitva will proceed. Time slot for Talkies Gaurav is every Saturday @ 9.30 pm. Another slot ‘Guru Mahima’ will showcase popular religious films such as Tochi Ek Samartha and Saidarshan; every Thursday morning @ 8.00 am.
Zee Talkies will premier total four blockbuster titles in the month of October in Talkies Premier. The film which will be premiering are Ashwini Bhave starrer-Kadachit (2nd October); Director Umesh Kulkarni’s Vihir (16th October); Sandip Kulkarni, Amruta Khanvilkar starrer, Director Satish Rajwade’s suspense thriller-Gair (23rd October) and Sachin Khedekar starrer emotional family drama-Taryanche Bet (30th October).
This is not all. Zee Talkies is bringing a brand new game show with a unique concept – FULL TO FILMY. Specially designed for film lovers; this show will be played within the filmy family where each member would play a role and perform a skit. The game will be played with a new family every week. The basic Objective of FULL TOO FLIMY is to Give a window to the common people to showcase their talent and passion for cinema along with providing entertainment to the viewer and the entire family. “Full to filmy” will be hosted by popular young actor Abhijit Khandkekar & show will be aired from 16th October, every Sunday @ 11.30 am after Cinema Cinema.

Zee Talkies celebrates Meet n Greet with Sachin-Supriya








Sachin & Supriya Pilgaonkar is a couple which is extremely popular in the world of Marathi and Hindi entertainment. Sachin Pilgaonkar, considered as an all rounder in the world of Film & Television, he started his career as a child artist in ‘Ha Maza Marg Ekla’ (1962) & from last four decades he is entertaining us as an actor, producer, director, singer and dancer. With many credible Hindi-Marathi TV serials and films under his banner, Sachin has done some remarkable work in every role he played.
On the other hand, Supriya Pilagonkar, considered one of the finest actress in the world of hindi and Marathi entertainment; she has performed some unforgettable performances as an actor.
Zee Talkies, the only Marathi movie channel, celebrated the entire week on the occasion of Sachin & Supriya’s birthday with ‘Sachin-Supriya Dhamaka’. The entire week (15th to 20th August) was the treat for Sachin-Supriya’s fans and some of the selective popular films of Sachin Pilgaokar & Supriya were showcased in ‘Sachin-Supriya Dhamaka’.
In addition to that, Zee Talkies also conducted a quiz within ‘Sachin-Supriya Dhamaka’ and it got a huge response from all over the place. From remarkably large number of participants, Zee Talkies selected five lucky Winner Couples for an Exclusive Meet n Greet with Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar. The winner couples got a chance to meet and their favorite pair in Grand Banquet hall in Mumbai. In this event, Zee Talkies also felicitates the winners with unique Zee Talkies gift hampers followed by delicious Dinner. The event was hosted by beautiful Manva Naik.

Marathi TV’s favorite award show – Waman Hari Pethe Jwellers presents Zee Marathi Awards 2011 is back. The biggest and the unique award show on Marathi television, Zee Marathi Awards is one of the most popular viewer’s choice award show by Zee Marathi. Just like every year, Zee Marathi Awards will felicitate the various nominees from its variety of fiction and nonfiction shows & finally the winner will be decided through viewer’s voting.
