Suresh Wadkar – Swapnil Bandodkar Live in on Zee Marathi

Suresh Wadkar and Swapnil Bandodkar, two legendary singers will share the same stage on the occasion of Sagarika live in concert of Suresh and Swapnil. For the first time on Television, television Suresh Wadkar and Swapnil Bandodkar in a concert where they not only share the stage, but also share their songs, sing duets and share their experiences with the audience.

Suresh Wadkar is not only a famous musician but he is also known as Singing Guru and throughout his musical journey. He has acted as a mentor to many aspiring singers in their initial careers. Swapnil Bandodkar, a renowned singer of today’s time is also a student of Sureshji. In this concert,  Swapnil will share his experiences with Sureshji as his mentor and how he has been guided by Sureshji in his difficult times. Swapnil has also expressed his gratitude to his ‘Guru’ while saying that singing with him on the same stage is a dream comes true for me.

In this concert, people will get to listen many famous Marathi and Hindi songs of both the singers including tumse milke, sapneme milti hai, chappa chappa charkha chale along with some melodious Marathi songs like Radha hi Bavri, mazi re, Radha Radha etc. Leading singers Vaishli Samant, Awadhoot Gupte will accompany the duo. Apart from the songs there will be a remarkable dance performance by famous Marathi actress Bhargavi Chirmule.

This unforgettable musical night will be aired on Sunday 3^rd April 2011, @ 7.00 pm only on Zee Marathi.

नवीन चित्रपटांबरोबरच आता लोकप्रिय नाटकांचाही रसिकांना घेता येणार  आस्वाद... 

संपूर्णपणे  मराठी चित्रपटांना वाहून घेतलेली  मराठीतील एकमेव वाहिनी म्हणजेच झी टॉकीज एप्रिल महिन्यापासून आता रसिकांसाठी मनोरंजनाची नवीन मेजवानी घेऊन येत आहे. आजवर  अनेक गाजलेल्या चित्रपटांचा  नजराणा  झी टॉकीजने आपल्या  प्रेक्षकांना घरबसल्या दिला आहे. उदा. नटरंग, मी शिवाजीराजे भोसले बोलतोय, हरिश्चंद्राची  फॅक्टरी , हुप्पा हुय्या. अलीकडच्या ब्लॉकबस्टर चित्रपटांबरोबरच गोंधळात गोंधळ, नवरी मिळे नवऱ्याला, नवरा माझा नवसाचा, जत्रा, अगबाई अरेच्चा असे कित्येक चित्रपट झी टॉकीजवर रसिकांनी अनुभवले. आता झी टॉकीज या चित्रपटांच्या  जोडीने  गाजलेल्या नाटकांची अनोखी पर्वणी द्यायला सज्ज झाली आहे. 'तिसरी घंटा' या नव्या स्लॉटमधून मराठी नाटकांचा  आस्वाद देखील आता झी टॉकीजच्या प्रेक्षकांना घेता येणार आहे. 

एप्रिल महिन्याची सुरुवात , अर्थात एक एप्रिल रोजी, 'एप्रिल फूल' स्पेशल मध्ये दुपारी १२.०० वाजता अशोक सराफ, लक्ष्मीकांत बेर्डे आणि सचिन यांचा  धमाल चित्रपट 'एकापेक्षा एक' ; दुपारी ३.०० वाजता भरत जाधव, संजय  आणि निर्मिती सावंत यांचा 'खबरदार' ; संध्याकाळी ६.३० वाजता 'अशी  ही बनवाबनवी' आणि रात्री ९.३० वा. केदार  शिंदेंचा  'मॅड'  कॉमेडी  असलेला ' ह्यांचा काही नेम नाही' हे  चित्रपट दाखवण्यात येणार आहेत. 

झी टॉकीजवर ब्लॉकबस्टर रविवार, टॉकीज लिमिटेड यांच्याबरोबरच  नव्याने सुरु होणाऱ्या मालामाल मंडे, टॉकीज थरार, टॉकीज जल्लोष आणि तिसरी घंटा  मध्ये अनेक जुन्या नव्या लोकप्रिय चित्रपट आणि नाटकांचा समावेश असेल. मालामाल मंडे मध्ये 'दे धक्का' ; 'नटरंग' ; 'नवरा माझा नवसाचा' यासारखे  नवीन ब्लॉकबस्टर चित्रपट दर सोमवारी संध्याकाळी ६.३० वा. पाहता येतील. या स्लॉटची सुरुवात ४ एप्रिल पासून होत असून यातील पहिला चित्रपट मकरंद अनासपुरेचा गाजलेला 'दे धक्का' असणार आहे. तसेच ७ एप्रिल पासून दर गुरुवारी रात्री ९.३० वा. 'टॉकीज  थरार' मध्ये  गूढ  आणि रहस्यमय चित्रपट पाहता येतील. यामध्ये महेश कोठारेंचा 'पछाडलेला'(१४ एप्रिल) ; 'एक रात्र मंतरलेली' (२१ एप्रिल) त्याबरोबरच 'हा खेळ सावल्यांचा'  (७ एप्रिल) आणि 'मी तुळस तुझ्या अंगणी' (२८ एप्रिल) असे काही चित्रपट पहिल्यांदाच टॉकीजवर दाखवण्यात येणार आहेत. तसेच 'टॉकीज प्रिमीयर' मध्ये एप्रिल महिन्यात संजय नार्वेकर, सई ताम्हणकर, मोहन जोशी यांचा विनोदी चित्रपट 'बे दुणे साडेचार' , रविवार, १७ एप्रिल रोजी दाखवण्यात येणार आहेत. 

मराठी माणसाचे नाटक वेड सर्वश्रुत आहेच. हीच गोष्ट लक्षात घेऊन झी टॉकीजवर ३ एप्रिल पासून दर रविवारी सकाळी ८.०० वा. 'तिसरी घंटा' मध्ये लोकप्रिय नाटके दाखवली जातील. एप्रिल महिन्यात प्रशांत दामले, अरुण नलावडे यांचे 'चार दिवस प्रेमाचे' (३ एप्रिल); जितेंद्र जोशीचे 'हम तो तेरे आशिक है' (१० एप्रिल); वैभव मांगले - विशाखा सुभेदारचे 'एक डाव भटाचा' (१७ एप्रिल) आणि निर्मिती सावंत यांचे 'श्यामची मम्मी' (२४ एप्रिल) ही लोकप्रिय नाटके रसिकांना पाहायला मिळतील. 

Magsaysay award winner Dr. Prakash Amte featured on Zee Marathi's talk show 'Khupte Tithe Gupte'!

A prominent social worker and '2008 Magsaysay Award' winner, Dr. Prakash Amte, recently featured on Zee Marathi's popular talk show 'Khupte Tithe Gupte' as an honorable guest along with the well known Marathi comedy actress Nirmiti Sawant. The duo shared their experiences from their respective professions as well as their personal lives. Also, both throw the light on the things which they feel are not right in society and marked their honest takes on the same.

Being a son of the legendary social worker Baba Amte, Dr Prakash Amte is following the legacy of his father. Still he successfully managed to create his individual identity as a social activist. On the show, he shared his real life experiences while working in the forests for Madia Gonds (a tribal from Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra). “Our life may seem thrilling to the outside world but in reality, our work is extremely challenging. It's not easy to survive in a jungle when you are living with tribal people without the knowledge of their local language. Also, when you are hungry you cannot appraise the beauty of nature.” Dr Mandakini Apte, his better half, who is an equal contributor in his work was also present on the show.

Nirmiti Sawant, a well known Marathi stage and film actress, expressed her views on her professional life. “I am not dominating in nature at all; but when it comes to my work, I am an extremely serious person and cannot tolerate indiscipline.”

The show is hosted by Awadhoot Gupte, a renowned singer and music director who is famous for his witty humor and funny comments.

Zee Marathi, Maharashtra's leading Marathi channel, media and entertainment conglomerate with its entire spirits hosted the most spectacular Awards in Marathi Industry – The Zee Gaurav Awards 2011. Zee Marathi commemorated the Goodknight Advanced presents Zee Gaurav Awards 2011 at an extravagant ceremony at Bhavan's Campus on Saturday, February 26, 2011.

Zee Marathi has announced awards to the prominent and talented personalities for their outstanding performance from 26 categories in films, 14 categories in commercial plays, 10 categories in experimental plays and 11 for revival play for Zee Gaurav 2011. This year, Zee Marathi has felicitated renowned versatile famous theatre personality Madhukar Toradmal and veteran persona from experimental theatre Arun Kakade and legendary editor of 'Sholey', 'Shaan', 'Seeta Aur Geeta' and 'Sagar' fame M. S. Shinde for the lifetime achievement award –Zee Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar. Other great achievers like Sulbha Deshpande, Dr. Mohan Agashe and Ramesh Deo took the honors of offering these Awards respectively.

A special Award named Marathi Paul Padate Pudhe, which is given for extravagant performance in Marathi as well as Hindi Film industry was given this year to cinematographer Mahesh Limaye. He has demonstrated his excellence in many Bollywood films namely, 'Corporate', 'Traffic Signal', 'Fashion' and his latest big hit - 'Dabaang' and Marathi movies like 'Uttarayan', 'Evdhasa Abhaal' and 'Natarang'. Famous Producer, Director Madhur Bhandarkar felicitated this award to Mahesh Limaye.
For this prestigious award, many well known faces from Marathi Industry marked their presence including Director N Chandra, Nivedita, Ashok Saraf, Bharat Jadhav, Devaki Pandit, Usha Nadkarni, Smita Talwalkar, Bharat Dabholkar, Makarand Deshpande, Dr Mohan Agashe, Mrunal Kulkarni, Tushar Dalvi, Sunil Barve, noted art director Nitin Desai.

The evening was marked by some dazzling dance performances by Sonali Kulkarni, Girija Oak, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Urmila Kanetkar and Aarti Solanki. Makrand Anaspure left the audience in splits with his insightful skits commenting on the current scams.

Hindi singer and music director duo Vishal-Shekhar set the stage on fire with their energetic performance.

Zee Marathi Presents Marathi Paaul Padte Pudhe

Zee Marathi, a leading Marathi GEC is well known for its complete entertaining offerings in fiction as well as in non-fiction. Almost every program is a trend setter and unique in its own way. Now Zee Marathi is all set to showcase the exclusive talents from the roots of Maharashtra through its new show 'Marathi Paaul Padte Pudhe'.

After auditions in 6 different cities across Maharashtra, final 56 artists made their way to the stage of Marathi Paaul Padte Pudhe. In selection process, some extraordinary, breath taking performances were shown which almost stop the breathing of selectors. 

Maharashtra is a state known for its art and culture. There are many original talents hidden in every corner of Maharashtra. From past many years Zee Marathi is bringing different forms of talents in singing, dancing and stand-up comedy through its popular shows Idea Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Ekapeksha Ek, Hasya Samrat etc. With Marathi Paaul Padte Pudhe Zee Marathi is going one step further. It is a platform to all those artists who possessed or developed their exclusive talent beyond conventional terms.

Nitin Desai, highly acclaimed art director from Bollywood, is a producer of 'Marathi Paaul Padte Pudhe'. The show is conceptualized by Zee Marathi and it is promising number of unbelievable performances which ultimately write the new page in the world of entertainment. Jitendra Joshi will be the anchor for this show and for the first time, glamorous model and actress Mugdha Godse along with versatile actor Makarand Deshpande will play the role of judge.   

The show will hit the TV Screens from 31st January 2011 – Every Monday and Tuesday @ 9.30 pm, only on Zee Marathi.
